Liam Ruddy Racing is thrilled to announce that Melody Again has been selected by slot holder Christian Hillier to contest the 2026 Kosciuszko.

For Liam and his emerging stable, the opportunity to compete in the $2 million feature for country-trained horses is an enormous milestone.

“It’s great for Melody Again and for the stable,” Liam said. “We’re a young stable, so to run in such a big race for country trainers is enormous. We’re incredibly grateful to Christian and everyone involved for giving us this opportunity.”

A proven performer at the highest level, Melody Again will head into the 1200-metre feature first-up.

“She’s a proper Group 1-performed horse. She’s fighting fit, her trial the other day was fantastic and the 1200 metres will suit her very well first-up,” Liam said.

“With the hot speed we expect in this year’s Kosciuszko, we’re excited to see her storm up that Randwick straight.”

Melody Again is now set to take her place in The Kosciuszko at Royal Randwick on Saturday, October 17.
