By one of Australia’s most influential stallions in Exceed And Excel, Straand Beauty combines elite Australian speed bloodlines with a proven female family that has already produced high-class performers.

Exceed And Excel has long been recognised as a dominant sire, producing more than 190 stakes winners worldwide including champions such as Overreach, Helmet, Flamberge, Microphone and Earthquake.

Straand Beauty is out of Serenada, a four-time winning daughter of champion sire Encosta De Lago. Serenada has already proven herself as a producer, with multiple winners including McLaren, a Group 3 placed performer who finished fourth in the Group 2 Silver Slipper and placed in the Group 3 Black Opal Stakes. The family also includes Cao Cao, a seven-time winner who performed successfully in both Australia and Singapore.

On the track, Straand Beauty has already demonstrated his ability and consistency. From just 15 starts he has recorded three victories and multiple placings, earning over $160,000 in prize money to date. His wins include a dominant performance breaking his maiden in the ATC Omega Power Maiden at Wyong. He has won at Gosford over 1100m and in town at Warwick Farm over 1000m at his last start in February. 

Still a young gelding and relatively lightly raced, with a provincial and metropolitan wins to his name, he is well placed to be aimed at some of our lucrative country trained eligible races before being targeted back in metropolitan company. A last start winner, he remains in full training and will be nominated for races in the coming weeks, making this an ideal opportunity to purchase a horse that is already fit, sound and ready to race.
